Services for Betty Robins age 60 of Wayne are being held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wayne Monday at 10:30 a.m.  She passed away Tuesday at her home in Wayne.
Memorial Visitation: St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wayne on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family present.

A Vigil Service is being held at 7:00 p.m.
Officiate: Rev. Mark Beran
Memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.

     Elizabeth Josephine “Betty” Robins was born May 23, 1952, at Wakefield to Victor and Emma (Zach) Haase.  She graduated from Wayne High School in 1970. Betty was a lifelong resident of Wayne and ran an in-home day care for over thirty years.  She thought of her daycare kids as her own and loved them very much.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in her flower garden, and being the best grandma in the world to her two grandsons.
    Left to cherish her memory are sons, Matthew Robins and his wife, Michelle of Hinton, IA, Nathan Robins of Omaha, a daughter, Rachel Robins and her fiancé, Kyle Miller of Norfolk; mother, Emma Haase of Wayne; one brother, Ron Haase and wife, Shirley of Omaha; four sisters, Sally Perry and her husband, Al of Rapid City, SD; Marge Polston and her husband, Tom of Plano, TX, Maxine  Schwanke and her husband, Roger of Wayne, and Laura Cole and her husband, Rich of Colome, SD; two grandchildren, Micah and Camryn Robins of Hinton, IA; nieces and nephews.
    Betty was preceded in death by her father in 1977.
     Betty’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the Holy Family Hall following the committal service.
