Funeral services for Frank E. Mrsny age 85 of Wayne will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Wayne on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

 He passed away Friday at his home surrounded by loving family in Wayne.
Visitation:  Monday 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne
Interment: With Military Rites in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne
Officiates: Rev. Carl Lilienkamp and Rev. Michael Feldmann
Memorials may be directed to Providence Medical Center Hospice Wayne

     Frank Emil Mrsny was born June 24, 1927 at Norfolk to John and Sadie (Kluge) Mrsny.  He served in the United States Navy from 1948-1949.  Frank married Alice Luckert, July 2, 1950 at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk.  They lived in Norfolk until moving to Wayne in 1957.  Frank was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.  He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was an avid Husker fan.
 
     Frank is survived by his wife, Alice and their children, Steven (Jill) Mrsny of Wayne, (Diana) Powers-Mrsny of Ft. Collins, CO, Debra (Kim) Kline and Kimberly (Bruce) Tresslar all of Papillion, Franklin Mrsny, Jeffrey Mrsny, and Kelly Mrsny all of Wayne; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brother, Herman (Gayle) Mrsny of Norfolk; sister, Gloria Campbell of Tarnov;  nieces and nephews.
 
     Frank was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael in 2008; brothers John and Elden Mrsny; and sister, Lillian.
 
     Frank’s family appreciates your thoughts and prayers and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the committal service.
