Donald Nettleton, 73

Memorial graveside services for Donald Nettleton, 73 of Junction City, KS will be held at the Carroll Cemetery in Carroll, Nebraska at 2 p.m. Friday, August 3. He died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at St. Francis Specialty Hospital in Topeka. The family will gather at the Carroll Library Community Room for a time of fellowship immediately following services.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donald Nettleton Memorial Fund.

He was born December 23, 1938, at Winside, Nebraska, one of five children born to D. Forrest and Bessie Lorenz Nettleton. He attended District #83 school for 8 years and later, Carroll, Nebraska High School. Don served with the US Army a short time before receiving a medical discharge. Don worked for area farmers driving livestock and grain trailer trucks most of his working life. He moved to Salina, lived at White Cloud before retiring to Junction City, Kansas in 2004.
He married Chrystal Friedricksen in 1966. They lived at Bloomfield, Carroll, and Hoskins, Nebraska. She preceded him in death.
Don was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Eugene, Hubert, and a brother in infancy.
Survivors include a sister Mrs. Ed (Pat) Oswald of Marysville; a friend Audrey Nelson; nieces and nephews.
