WSC Volleyball Up To #20 In Latest AVCA Poll

WAYNE - Wayne State College moved up one spot to 20th in this week’s American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. The Wildcats are 10-3 on the season and received 177 points in voting conducted by various head coaches from across the country after recording three NSIC road wins last week. The Wildcats posted a 3-2 win last Tuesday evening at Augustana College followed by 3-0 sweeps over the weekend at Minnesota, Crookston and Bemidji State. WSC faces another three matches this week, all at Rice Auditorium in Wayne. The ‘Cats meet in-state rival Chadron State this evening at 7:00, followed by NSIC home matches Friday night at 7:00 vs. Minot State and Saturday at 3:00 pm against the University of Mary.
