Bauer Places 10th To Pace Wildcat Men Golfers

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Sophomore Blake Bauer tied for 10th place overall at five over par with rounds of 74 and 75 to lead the Wayne State College men’s golf team at the Husky Classic in St. Cloud, Minnesota played Sunday and Monday. As a team, the Wildcats improved by 13 shots on the second day shooting rounds of 334 and 321 for a 36-hole team score of 655 to finish in 15th place out of 16 teams. Other WSC finishers included freshman Jack Peterson at 164 with rounds of 81 and 83, sophomore Spencer Shadden came in at 169 (87-82), freshman Jeff Greenwood shot 93 and 81 for 174 and Garret Kuhl shot 92-85 for a 177.
