Winside High School Hosting Career Day

WINSIDE - Winside High School is hosting a career day today.  Students will spend time learning from professionals in various occupational fields. Joining us to speak will be the following: Senator Dave Bloomfield - District 17 Nebraska State Senator - Hoskins, NE;  Paul Roberts - Farmer - Carroll, NE; Jim Bierbower - Dentist - Wakefield, NE; Mashala Jo Thies - Veterinary Technician - Norfolk, NE; Dave Woslager - Northeast Nebraska Insurance Agency - Wayne, NE; Scott Watters - Winside State Bank; Dale Alexander - National Guard - Wayne, NE. During the day, students will learn about the different careers as well as the educational background of the occupations and have the chance to ask questions. To further enhance the experience, the Winside faculty and staff will be displaying their own "college colors" to promote college and career readiness.
