WHS Girls And Boys XC Teams Place 4th And 7th At Aquinas

DAVID CITY (KTCH/KCTY) - The Wayne High girls’ and boys’ cross country teams competed at the Aquinas Invitational in David City yesterday. The girls’ team finished fourth, while the boys placed seventh. Cassie Heier and Angie Nelson both medaled for the Wayne girls, finishing sixth and 10th, respectively. For the boys, Ben Hoskins led with a 13th-place finish. Other finishers for the Wayne girls were 20th- Miranda Long, 46th- Martha Mitiku, 53rd- Hannah Kenny and 57th- Dulce Torres. For the Wayne boys, 24th- Jacob Reynolds, 36th- Luke Pulfer, 42nd- Jared Peterson, 46th- Grant Anderson and 51st- Bryce Sebade.
