WSC Volleyball Up To 18th In AVCA Poll

WAYNE - The Wayne State College volleyball team moved up two spots to 18th in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon.
The Wildcats, winners of seven straight contests, are 13-3 on the season and tied for second in the NSIC with a 6-1 league mark after posting wins last week over Chadron State (3-1), Minot State (3-0) and University of Mary (3-0). The Wildcats received a total of 206 points in voting conducted by various Division II head coaches from across the country and will face a pair of top 10 nationally-ranked teams this weekend. Wayne State plays at #10 Minnesota State Friday evening at 7 p.m. followed by a 4:30 p.m. contest Saturday at #6 Concordia-St. Paul.
