WSC Rugby Teams Win Big On Saturday

WAYNE – The Wayne State College women’s rugby team defeated Sout Dakota State 82-0 on Saturday, and has moved into first place in the Great Plains Rugby Conference.
Wayne State will travel to #2 Augustana this Saturday, and will earn a home game for the national playoffs on Oct. 27th with a win. The Wildcat men’s rugby team also claimed a victory over South Dakota State, 74-5. The Wayne State men are currently ranked first in the Great Plains Rugby Conference and will travel to UN-Kearney with a home playoff game also on the line.
