SOUTH SIOUX CITY (KTCH/KCTY) - The Wayne Blue Devil softball team traveled to South Sioux City last night for its last regular season contest of the year. The Blue Devils picked up the win 15-1 in three innings. Emily Leeper, Sydnie Harris and Hannah Gamble led at the plate, each recording three hits. With the win, Wayne closes out their regular season at 22-4 overall. The Blue Devils start District play in Wisner on Thursday, earning a bye until the second round.
