Fredrickson Oil Celebrates 75 Years
Posted: 12 October, 2012
WAYNE - Fredrickson Oil Company of Wayne invites all of their friends and customers to their seventy-fifth anniversary celebration dinner today at the Wayne National guard Armory starting at 5 pm.
They will be serving an appreciation meal of beef, pork, potato salad and cheesy potatoes. In 1937 original owners Bill and Rose Fredrickson purchased a service station North of Wayne and called it Fredrickson Service Station. Over the next seventy-five years it has undergone several expansions and the name change to Fredrickson Oil Company. Ownership has remained in the family over the seventy five years, moving from Bill and Rose Fredrickson to their son Swede and his wife Shirley, who in turn sold the business to Roger and his wife Denise, the current owners. Along with Roger and Denise, a fourth generation of Fredricksons also works in the business today. Stop in at Fredrickson’s anniversary celebration at the Wayne Armory and enjoy dinner and register to win prizes including a set of Tires and a forty inch flat screen TV.
