ALBION (KTCH/KCTY) - The Wayne High boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed at the Class C, District 3 race in Albion yesterday. The girls’ team finished fifth overall. Cassie Heier led the Blue Devils with a third-place finish, followed by Angie Nelson at 14th. The Blue Devil boys came in eighth overall, and were paced by Ben Hoskins who finished sixth. Heier and Nelson for the girls, and Hoskins for the boys all qualify for the State Cross Country Meet, as they finished in the top 15.
