BATTLE CREEK (KTCH/KCTY) - The Blue Devil volleyball team was on the road last night, competing at Battle Creek. Wayne was bested by the Braves in the five set thriller. Scores of the match were 25-19, 18-25, 28-26, 20-25, 11-15, favoring Battle Creek. Sydney Burke led the Blue Devil hitting attack with 15 kills, along with 12 from Madison Frevert and 10 from Lexi Sokol. Emma Evetovitch handed out 31 set assists, and Sydney McCorkindale added 17. Jessica Biermann Tallied 25 digs, with 20 from Meagan Backer, 16 from Burke and 14 from McCorkindale.
