WINNEBAGO - Authorities have released the name of a man who was found in the Missouri River near Winnebago last week. Authorities have identified the man as 56 year-old David Lawrence Deaton. They say he accidentally drowned in the river, but are not yet releasing how he got in the water. Deaton’s body was found around 11:00 last Wednesday morning at Big Bear Park near Winnebago. No foul play is suspected.
