With the incoming snow in the forecast and predicted wind speeds, the City of Wayne has issued a Snow Plow Alert starting at Noon on Tuesday, January 24 until further notice. All on-street parking within the City of Wayne should be removed from the city streets.

UNDATED (KTCH/KCTY) – In community events today, Wakefield Elementary will be performing two different one act plays of “Charlotte's Web” at 9:30 am, 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. One will be performed in Spanish, and one will be performed in English during each performance. This is in support of Wakefield Elementary School's one book, one community program. Shows are free and open to the public. Wayne State College is presenting its final performance of the War of the Worlds play production. WSC Theater students are recreating the original broadcast by Orson Welles, based on the book by HG Wells in 1898 (play adaptation by Todd Olson). It will be in the Black Box Theater at 7:00 tonight in the Lied Performing Arts Annex, Peterson Fine Arts Building. No Reservations, Open Seating, Free Admission. The Wayne Public Library is hosting Story Hour with today’s theme “Wolves.”
