WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - The City of Wayne sales tax numbers are in for the month of October, which are based off sales made in the month of August. The amount totaled $58,512.80, which breaks the previous record of $55,814.95 received in February 2012, and is the best October amount ever. The October numbers mark the first sales tax receipts turned in for fiscal year 2012-2013. In fiscal year 2011-2012, the City of Wayne received a total of $593,969.16 in city sales tax receipts, an average of $49,497.43 per month.
