Pillen Elected To Board Of Regents

LINCOLN - Columbus business owner and former Nebraska football player Jim Pillen has been elected to represent Northeast Nebraska on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.
Pillen received over 49,000 votes last night, compared to his opponent, Norfolk lawyer David Copple, who received over 27,000 votes. Pillen replaces Chuck Hassebrook of Lyons, who resigned in February to run for U.S. Senate.
