WSC Volleyball Now Eighth In Region

WAYNE - Wayne State College fell one spot to eighth in the latest NCAA Division II Central Region Volleyball Rankings released Wednesday afternoon by the NCAA office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Central Region includes teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, Great American Conference and Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. Wayne State is ranked eighth in the region with a record of 22-8 overall and an 18-8 mark against teams within the region. The top eight teams in the region will advance to the NCAA Central Region Tournament November 29-December 1. The Wildcats will travel to St. Paul, Minnesota for the NSIC Volleyball Tournament this weekend for a matchup with Northern State in a four/five seed contest in the first round with the first set scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
