Homer Woman Named AgCeptional Woman Of The Year

NORFOLK - A woman from Northeast Nebraska was named Friday as the 2012 AgCeptional Woman of the Year at the fourth annual AgCeptional Women's Conference. Nancy Kirkholm has managed the family farm near Homer in Dakota County since her husband Dennis passed away in 2008. She is assisted in running the family farm by her two young adult children. Approximately 350 women from Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota attended the conference, held in the Lifelong Learning Center on the campus of Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
