WSC Women Ruggers Claim National Title

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (KTCH/KCTY) - It was a dream weekend for the Wayne State College women’s rugby team in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
The Wildcat ruggers opened semifinal play in the National Small College Rugby Organization tournament on Saturday with a 23-21 nail biting win over Wheaton College of Massachusetts. The ‘Cats followed that performance with a convincing 32-0 win over previously unbeaten Roger Williams University of Bristol, Rhode Island, claiming the 2012 NSCRO National Championship. The Wildcats end their season at 17-1.
