Orphan Grain Train Helping With Sandy Relief

Posted: 20 November, 2012

NORFOLK - In response to Hurricane Sandy Disaster, Orphan Grain Train has been active in bringing relief supplies to the victims. To date OGT's Maryland, Mid-Atlantic, and Indiana branches have sent clothing, food, quilts, and hundreds of five gallon buckets filled with cleaning supplies to the victims. The Headquarters in Norfolk purchased food and other needed items for distribution, from wholesale suppliers near the storm-affected areas. The non-profit will continue to assist the victims as long as necessary.  Monetary donations collected in Norfolk, for Hurricane Sandy victims, will help with purchase and distribution of food and other supplies in the northeast. If you would like to assist with the relief effort, information can be found at www.ogt.org.
