WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - Wayne State College is hosting a blood drive from 10:00 am to 2:45 today in the Bloodmobile at the Student Center.
The Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department will host the Control Diabetes for Life program from 1:30-4:00pm. Topics will include: The Mysteries of Monitoring, Beating Wintertime Blues, Diabetes Meal Planning Made Easy and Q&A time with Credentialed Professionals. Starting today, Goodwill Industries will be in Laurel to accept donations. Their "Ambassador Trailer" will be located at the Bear Car Wash on the north edge of town. Clothing, usable small appliances, household goods, sporting goods and toys will be accepted.
