Rep. Terry Named Chairman Of Commerce And Trade Subcommittee

OMAHA (AP) – U.S. Rep. Lee Terry has been selected as the chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s commerce and trade subcommittee.
The Nebraska Republican will head the Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade Subcommittee beginning in January. The subcommittee has jurisdiction over many consumer issues and regulations. They include interstate and foreign commerce issues, regulation of commercial practices and the Federal Trade Commission, data security and consumer affairs, protection and product safety.
