Norman G. “Andy” Anderson was born May 23, 1923, at Hoskins to Henry and Elizabeth M. (Behmer) Anderson. He attended grade school near Hoskins. Norman served in the United States Army. Norman married Virginia Larsen, January 28, 1950, at Yankton, SD. They lived in Carroll until moving to Winside in 1967, where Norman was a truck driver. Following his retirement, Norman drove a tour bus. He enjoyed gardening.
Norman is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sally Anderson of Norfolk; five grandchildren, Jennifer Deitloff, Nicholas Kettler, Stephanie Nelson, Melanie Towne, and Kevin Anderson; and seven great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia in 1996; sister, Lila Hansen in 2011; and a brother-in-law, Gurney in 1984.
Norman’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the committal service.
