City Sales Tax Receipts Remain Ahead Of Last Year

WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - The City of Wayne sales tax receipts are in for the month of December, based on sales made in October. The month’s numbers total in at $52,655.09, the second highest total of fiscal year 2012/2013. So far through three months in the current fiscal year, the city tax receipts have totaled $162,590.20, for an average of $54,196.73. The current three month total is higher than the $140,281.99 earned at this time last fiscal year.
