Fire Destroys Jackson Business

JACKSON – A business near Jackson, Nebraska has been destroyed by a fire. Emergency were called to Gomez Pallet Company, located about a mile west of Jackson at 7:30 Sunday morning. Firefighters worked through the afternoon to get the fire under control. The company, which makes containers and industrial wood pallets, is considered to be a near total loss according to a spokesperson for the company. No one was harmed in the fire, and the State Fire Marshall’s office is still investigating the cause.
