Truck Driver Killed In Accident Near Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a truck driver has been killed in a crash about five miles north of Battle Creek in northeast Nebraska. The Pierce County Sheriff's Office says the accident occurred a little after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The office says the truck was headed south on a rural road when it left the roadway, ran into a ditch and rolled. The driver was ejected and was pronounced at the scene. The driver's name isn't being released until relatives are notified about the accident.
