LINCOLN (AP) – The Nebraska Legislature is postponing its Thursday afternoon committee hearings because of an expected snowstorm.
Lawmakers agreed to cancel the scheduled committee hearings so they can return home before heavier expected snow arrives. Speaker Greg Adams says the full Legislature will still convene at 9 a.m. Thursday, and adjourn for the day at 11 a.m. The announcement affects five committees. Lawmakers still plan to meet at 10 a.m. on Friday.
