Memorial services for Reba Maloney age 81 of Laurel will be held at the United Lutheran Church in Laurel

on Monday June 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial visitation will be held at the United Lutheran Church in Laurel on Monday from 9 am until service time. She died Monday at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home Laurel.

     Reba Donnis Maloney was born May 8, 1932, at Laurel to Floyd and Johanna (Pedersen) Maxon.  She attended a one room rural school house near Laurel and graduated from Wisner High School in Wisner. Her early adult years were spent in Garden Grove, CA, her middle years in Orange, CA, and lived her final years in Laurel.  Reba was a homemaker and was later employed at Gary’s Food Townin Laurel.
     Reba is survived by her beloved daughters, Lynn Maloney       and Valdorine Maloney (Richard Lemke) all of Las Vegas, NV; loving son, Tad (Rhonda) Maloney of Havasu, AZ; treasured brother, Larry Maxon of Laurel; sister, Maxine (Ottlin) Wagner of Red Oak, TX; dearest grandchildren, Charles Borrego, Jennifer Bindert, Andrea Ruiz, Kevin Ruiz, Raycene Kewish-Stefanski, and Maxcene Maloney; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
     Reba was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kellee Pano; brother, John Maxon; sisters, Ramona Greenly and Valdorine Maxon; and sister-in-law Norma Maxon.
     Reba’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the service.
