USDA Expecting Big Nebraska Corn Crop

LINCOLN (AP) - Nebraska's corn crop is forecast to be 24 percent bigger this year than last. The U.S. Department of Agriculture said yesterday that Nebraska is expected to produce 1.61 billion bushels in 2013.
It says an estimated 9.8 million acres have been harvested for grain, which is 8 percent more than last year.
