Make sure to register your dogs and cats if you live in the City of Wayne during the month of May. Registration fees during this period will be $6.00 per dog or cat and licenses can be obtained at the Wayne Police Department. More information can be found under the Community Events tab.

Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership will be providing immunizations and lead screenings for children from 9:00-3:00 at United Methodist Church in Wayne.

The Norfolk Support Group for the visually impaired will meet at the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 214 N. 7th St., Suite 11, Norfolk at 1:30. The topic will be Leadership and Carrying the Torch. For details, call 402-370-3436.

Farmers and Ranchers are invited to a FREE legal clinic sponsored by Legal Aid of Nebraska and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture. The clinic will provide one-on-one counseling with farmers about a variety of Ag legal issues, including financial planning, estate and transition planning, loan programs, debtor/creditor law, water rights, and other Ag-related legal matters.
