WSC Volleyball Down Two Spots To 17th

WAYNE - The Wayne State College volleyball team dropped two spots to 17th in this week’s AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon.  The Wildcats received 408 points in voting conducted by various Division II head coaches from across the country.
           
Wayne State posted a 2-1 record last week as the Wildcats swept Peru State 3-0 Wednesday night in a non-conference match, then returned to Northern Sun Conference play and won 3-0 at Upper Iowa Friday night before falling 3-1 at Winona State Saturday.
           
The Wildcats play three matches this week, visiting Augustana College Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. followed by home contests this weekend against #4 Minnesota Duluth Friday night at 7 p.m. and St. Cloud State Saturday at 4 p.m.
