WSC Women's Soccer Falls 5-0 at Winona State

WINONA, MN - Winona State posted a 5-0 Northern Sun Conference women's soccer win Saturday afternoon over Wayne State College at Verizon Wireless Stadium in Winona, Minnesota.
With the loss, Wayne State falls to 1-13-1 on the season and 1-10-1 in the NSIC.
Winona State scored two goals in the first half and added three more in the second half for the 5-0 win. The host Warriors held a commanding 29-1 advantage in shots over Wayne State with Wildcat senior Norma Volkmer credited with Wayne State's lone shot in the contest.
Winona State had four corner kicks to Wayne State's none with the Wildcats called for six fouls to just one on Winona State. Wildcat freshman goalkeeper Kylie Comba had 14 saves in the contest.
The Wildcats will be on the road again this afternoon visiting Upper Iowa in a 1 p.m. NSIC contest.
