William "Clay" Dana
May 29, 1995-November 15, 2013
Words cannot begin to express the deep, wrenching sorrow that our family feels at the sudden and unexpected death of our sweet son. Clay was a special treasure, a true blessing sent from God and loved by many.
As an infant, Clay was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy due to complications from Strep B Bacteria.
This has been a roller coaster ride of mixed emotions! Yet ultimately, our family finds peace and comfort in the fact that Clay is finally free from of all of his limitations and challenges that he faced here on earth.
Despite his disabilities, Clay had a love for animals, lights, sounds, music, movies, hippo-therapy, cattle and especially being teased by his sister.
Clay is survived by his parents, Logan and Stacia (Schutte) Dana and his sister, Grace, of Laurel, NE; Grandparents William and Mona Schutte of Idaho Falls, ID; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who all loved him dearly.
Clay was preceded in death by his Grandparents Leonard and Laura Dana of Clay Center, NE and his cousin Matthew Dana of Phillips, NE.
Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Laurel, NE Friday, November 22nd at 7:00 p.m. with a memorial visitation and luncheon from 5-7 p.m.
Thank you again for all of the prayers, love and support shown by our wonderful family and friends.
