OWH And LJS Preseason Girls' Basketball Rankings

UNDATED - The Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star have released their respective preseason girls’ high school basketball rankings.  In the Omaha World Herald, in Class C-1, Pierce is ranked second, and Norfolk Catholic is eighth.  In C-2, two-time defending state champion Crofton is ranked first, Homer is ranked fourth, Pender is fifth and West Point Guardian Angels is eighth.  In D-1, Emerson/Hubbard is ranked fourth.  In Class D-2, Wynot is fourth, Bancroft/Rosalie is ninth, and Osmond is ranked tenth. 

According to the Lincoln Journal Star’s Class C-1 rankings, Pierce is ranked second, Wayne is fourth and Boone Central/Newman Grove is eighth.  In Class C-2, Crofton is ranked first, Pender is ranked fifth, Homer is sixth, and West Point Guardian Angels is seventh.  In Class D-1, Emerson/Hubbard is ranked third and Randolph is ranked seventh.  In Class D-2, Wynot is second and Bancroft/Rosalie is ranked fifth.
