Season Ends In Subdistricts For Lady Trojans

WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - A pair of games took place in the C2-4 Subdistrict held in Wayne. The first pitted #4-seeded Wakefield Lady Trojans vs. the #1 seed Homer Lady Knights. Homer jumped up early, leading 45-21 at halftime, before cruising to a 63-42 win, ending the season for the Lady Trojans. Brandon Tighe paced Homer with 17 points to go along with 11 from Cassandra Stowe. Lauren Lemkuhl was again the bright spot for Wakefield, totaling 23 points, while McKenzie Rusk added 10. The Lady Trojans end their season at 12-12 overall.
