Wakefield Boys End Season In Subdistricts

WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - Homer held just a 22-17 halftime advantage over Wakefield when the two faced each other in the C2-4 Subdistrict in Wayne Tuesday night. But the Knights were able to build a steady lead in the second half, including a fourth quarter that saw them score 21 points. Eventually, the Knights were able to defeat the Trojans 55-41. Evan Nicholson was the lone Trojan in double digits, scoring 18 points to lead the way. With the loss, Wakefield ends their season at 8-15 overall.
