She died Saturday at Providence Medical Center in Wayne.
Visitation: Sunday 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. With Family present at Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne

Jacqueline Ann Nissen was born
July 25, 1933, at Ashland to Charles Eugene and Katherine (Kaiser) Bundy. She attended country school near Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School. Jackie married Wayne Nissen on July 6, 1952. The couple lived in Connecticut while Wayne finished his military service. They farmed near Gretna and later Syracuse, then moving to Hubbard, IA. In 1973, the couple moved to Wayne. Jackie worked in the laundry department at the Wayne Care Center for many years. Jackie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wayne and Swim Sistas Exercise Group. She enjoyed bird watching, especially hummingbirds.


Jackie is survived by her husband, Wayne; their five sons,

Scott Nissen of Houston, TX, Aaron (Holly) Nissen of Delta, UT, Alan (Tammy) Nissen of Wayne, Stuart Nissen of Sioux City, IA, and Kevrin Nissen of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Strasburg of Blue Hill; and nieces and nephews.


Jackie is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Jane Hintz and Merna Jean Hammer.


Jackie’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the service.
